Good turnout that could have easily been twelve but for two Injured skippers . Nice to welcome back Geoff Burrell after a long lay off. The morning started with a good A + rig breeze but some drizzly rain spoiled thing just a little , the racing was very good of the south bank with two good beats and runs and a short leg to the finish, Billy Mac got things going with a fine win, and then Alan Edgar took the next race, before Phil H got into his stride, Keith H had a slow start by his standards, but from then on was very consistant finishing off with two bullitts. Ed Whitaker I have to say sailed probably better than I have ever seen him sail in fact getting a second in race two, and in fact finishing above some pretty good skippers . Ivan S sailed particularly well, and after a very promising start Billy Mac kinda lost his mojo. The racing went well and a few more Lotto tickets were sold leaving only three, and so it is expected the draw will be next week when the I.O.M’s come out to play. Well done the race team and helpers, and congrats to Phil H for his great win
Gota say thinking about some absentee’s we could have had 15/16 out today !!!!!
