A windy wet day was forecast for this round of the DF/RG Winter series, It may have put one or two off, but as it turned out , the rain stayed away and there was some great racing in B suit conditions till around 11am and then although only Mick C changed down to C rig along with Norman F it really was one of those rare times when C suit paye’d , Ivan Stevenson was sailing out of his skin and had a string of good results, Bob Geary we welcomed back after a six month break also sailed well in fact winning the first race. A few skippers will be pleased with there results and will know deep down that they just need to work on the consistency and they will start rise up the leader board, in the DF series. In the RG series Phil has now got a B swing rig and managed to keep going even though some of the off wind legs were a bit hairy with some major Dives . Jo managed to steal a couple of firsts and is clearly enjoying his racing. 11 skippers out on what could have been a dodgy day weather wise was excellent, Thanks to the guys who got the stuff out ready and put things away at the end. Only two rounds left in the Winter series, so be there for round 7 on the          20th March .
