Nine races were completed on a superb winters morning with a light northerly breeze, that got stronger as the morning went on. Eleven competitors and some close fought racing made this another enjoyable morning at the farm. Graham K 21 was a casualty even before racing started with winch/setup problems and took no further part . Race 1 had the V9 of Mick C 46 quick of the blocks, with Bob G 58 hot on his heels after a 6month absence from the sport sailing his EVO 3 very well, close behind and the eventual winner by 1 point Rob W 97 sailing his very fast purple Brit Pop, it was always going to be the person who made the fewest mistakes that was going to take this event especially with a trick final 40 yards on the beat to the weather mark where the wind shift could catch you unawares at any time. Jen Hand 69 had some good results as did Alan Newman 0 but consistency as always was the name of the game. Bob G 58 just getting 3rd on count back from Jen H 69. Thanks to everybody for a most enjoyable morning. I am sure when we see the series results it is all still to play for, and so the next round on the 27th March should be a nail biter .
