The morning started bright and breezy with the wind in the North West. Later in the day it moved towards the West which would have made the course up the East bank easier except for the shiftiness and flukeyness which came with it. After all it was a Dragon day! Floating weed continues to be a problem and most skippers suffered at some point of the day. Sailing continued up to 14.00 at which time 12 races were completed.
A couple of notable events were a new member Geoff Burrell who seemed to improve slowly during the day and JIM WON HIS FIRST RACE – well done to both.
Round 2 will be on 24th May.
