Very still morning greeted 8 skippers for round 8 , probably the worst turnout so far this year but with high pressure all around it looked as if the breeze would not arrive , but arrive it did 5 to 7 knots gave a good beat and run along the South bank, Usual suspects were missing on other duties or just enjoying the summer sun, Keith 88 with his well tuned Sedici was allways favorite and with 8 wins from 14 races did very well Dave 57 did his best to hang in there ad got a creditable 2nd and took two wins, Mick 46 took it on countback to claim 3rd spot , with Graham sailing very well. The two Micks spent most of the time on the benches sitting down and did manage to be on the start line for the starts, hopefully both will be back sailing proper in the not too distant future.
Many thanks to everybody who answered the call for OOD’s Keith , Dave , Cooperman and nearly all the skippers got there ealy enough to help which made it a lot easier Dave eventually calling the shots that enabled us to complete 14 races
