A decent breeze greeted 8 skippers for the second round of the Dragon force winter series . Sunny skies and a temp of around 7/8 degrees had us all wrapped up and snug. Sailing was from the east bank and the breeze had some skippers opting for top suit and some with B suit. New member Criss Elliott sailing his new Dragon stormed into an early lead with three straight wins, Whilst Mick H 14 had some problems and missed the first two races, when he sees the results I am sure he will be sure to be up and running from race one. In the early races the breeze favoured the top suits, and around race 6 the breeze got that little bit stronger and the second suits did a little better, Chris was never out of the top two and won quite comfortably, but some notable races from Mick H and also Gordon Bennett, showed that it is good racing. 10 race were completed and an early finish was agreed by all. Well done Chris and welcome to Lincoln Model Yacht club.
Round three is on the 4th January , a good time to blow the cobwebs away and come out and have some fun.
