Great days sailing at the lake today, end to end sunshine but disappointingly only 6 skippers turned up for what was a great technical battle against the SSW wind, (21mph gusting to 37mph) saw all skippers start on B suits, sailing off the East bank, after the second race two dropped down to C suit and at the break the others also had to change down, Peter W had to retire as he only had B and it couldn’t handle the gusts, but still managed a third in the last race ,,.. Well done to Keith Holmes who took the honours. and many thanks to all the OOD’s and helpers .
Moral of the story ,,,,, Occasionaly you WILL need smaller rigs so be prepared, Get your self a couple of Xmas presents oreded today ,, ok tomorow .
