Another fine day at the farm , 10 degrees, sunshine, a light south westerly, with a few pigs in blankets on the horizon. 5 of the clubs best human beings turned out for a bit of racing and mulled wine tasting, A gentle programe was set with plenty of time for rig adjustments and tuning after each glass of mulled wine and 6 races were completed. The assistant race office was there around 0845 and had plenty of time to get the dingy round ( not used ) get the board out and set up the start box, both classes started at the same time with a long long beat and a run followed by a long beat to the finish. Mick Cooper sailed well to win the I.O.M having match raced Graham around the course, results below, and Mick Chamberlain won the DF 95, results further below. Around 1130 we all retired to the clubhouse for mulled wine and sausage rolls, pigs , Mince pies, and some terrible jokes, we had a couple more races and then all mucked in to get the kit away and go home, funny but no shouting on the bank , not one call for starboard, It was so peacefull, a fitting end to the season , Good time to check the calendar to see when you are race office next year!!!!! Happy Xmas everybody
