NEW WEBSITE

Hi there,

It’s late November and the nights are drawing in, but we are still out there on Sunday mornings with our boats and our flasks of tea and coffee.  Nothing daunts us.  We all pretend that it doesn’t matter who wins, and we all congratulate the winner,  even though we think deep down, it should have been me.   The competitive spirit never leaves us.

I hope, over the coming months, to be able to add things to our website, and continue to make it interesting to read.   There will be lots of links to show things such as tuning, and videos, and anything else that we might find interesting or amusing, but please remember, we are all in this together, and if you come across an interesting titbit to do with our sport or hobby,  don’t hesitate to let me know, so that we can share it with our members.   Pictures too.  There have been some great events at Lincoln over the last few years, and I am sure that some of you have some great pictures to share.

Our numbers have dwindled over the last few years, and it is down to us all to try and get some more members.  I have some interesting little posters that we can try to  get in prominent places.   Bob has the outline of some great magnetic car stickers, and Graham will try and get us listed in the model making magazines.   I am also chatting to somebody regarding some free input with the local radio stations, etc., etc.

Over the last couple of weeks, we have been chatting over ideas at the lake during sailing.  We have a great club and our water and facilities are second to none.   We now need to pull together and let’s build for the future.
