A fine day with good sunshine and a steady westerly breeze 10/12 knots greeted 7 I.O.M skipper and two DF 95 skippers , racing was conducted from the East bank and the windward mark proved to be a bit of an eyesight test. Mick Chamberlain gbr46 started well with three wins and Jen Hand then got the next two. Racing was very good and we managed to get in 9 races despite the interruption for Phil’s big birthday cake, The weed in the lake proved less of a problem than we first thought, and there was good banter on the bank. Results are below , and you will also see the DF95 results , Gordon still not better and so it was down to Ivan and Ed to keep that flag flying , Ivan winning on the day and Ed still learning and getting better as each day passes, Lesson learned is always have a spare battery and change it a tea break , well done to the OOD and all the helpers, for making it a great mornings racing .
DF 95 results below , The races were sailed all morning with Top suit where it may have been better for the DF 95s to move down a rig .
