A freezing morning , minus 3/4 greeted the 11 competitors for round 3 of the Dragon Force winter series, However the lake was not frozen but the molehills were like mini mountains of granite. The lake was like glass, not a breath of wind , boats were launched and one race was had, over a very long period of time , It was then noticed that one competitors yacht was  decidedly stern down and a rush for the dingy was made to retrieve the sinking yacht. by the time we got to it there was only 4 inches of bow visible ,Happy endings are nice , we saved it , but not the day racing, it was abandoned, and so we have still only had one round of this winter series.
