THE LINCOLN WINTER WARMER ON THE SUNDAY 30TH DECEMBER                           This is an open meeting in between Xmas and new year for   I.O.M yachts .  Bacon Baps on the Barbie at 9am with red or brown sauce,,  The racing will start at 10am straight after the brief briefing,  no race will start after 3pm which will be followed by a short prize giving for at least the first five places , the entry fee is £ 2.00 or £ 1.50 on production of a bus pass , it is open to all and especially the Lincoln lot , anybody who wishes to race must enter before 5pm 24th December by emailing  Mick at   v113simo@yahoo.co.uk   or telephone 01427 610864  with name, sail number, freq, club, and telephone number, if anybody who is not sailing can lend a hand they will be most welcome and I will be most grateful, please book early to avoid disappointment as numbers will be limited to allow us to sail one fleet , and keep things moving . Dont forget to bring a flask and a snack for lunch , and wrap up warm.

It is hoped that this event will become an annual event and we look forward to welcoming the visitors to our patch

Hi Guy’s I took a few pictures while we were at the lake on Sunday , so here they are , I would also like to thank all you guy’s for putting in the effort and getting the job done I am proud of you all , the steps need a few finishing touches which we will do in January , but I think you can all picture the scene when the new jetty gets erected   ( courtesy of our friends from RILMAC ) in early February , once again well done to you all

Hi Guy’s I have posted the I.O.M and R.M results for the summer series , Please check these because I am not at all certain that all the races we have done have been included ( they may have ) please let me know ,I have also changed the scoring to make it a fairer systen ( i believe ) and have not put in any discards ! Frankly coming in to the club and taking over as secretary straight away has not been to easy as some of the past rules and regs I have been unaware of , I have done the best I can for you and I hope we can get things straight at the A.G.M in January . Overall I would hope we see it as a good year for the sailing apart from the weed problem and we have all enjoyed ourselves, and had some close racing .
