“Fathers day”, and so the only skippers who turned up were those that had no lunch invitation from there kids , Simples , But for those that came we had quality racing, forecast was for rain all day , but we are not sure where cos it was not at Scotland farm. Just a short report cos I am not used to doing it, but the light breeze was straight down the East bank With two long beat and runs and a shorter beat to the finish, we all rocked up early got it all sorted and raced , Mick C 46 got some great practice with Rob W 97 ready for next weeks ranking up on the moors in Yorkshire, Rob was sailing his Fraktal and so there was not a Brit Pop in site, Dave R 57 beat Rob on countback , and did the majority of the start line work, All in all a great mornings racing with a great bunch of guys, always enough wind but it was a bit fluky, and could catch you out, that is if you weren’t over the line at the start.
