A good day for sailing even though the fresh breeze was from the wrong direction. North West to North is never an easy direction at Scotland Farm but the race officers, team Harpham, were up to the challenge and a challenging course was set using the existing mark positions.
Of the 9 skippers who started the event only 5 were still sailing at the end due to a variety of reasons.
Ties were resolved in favour of Gordon ( 2 ist places to Ivans 1) and Roger ( a 4th place to Micks 5th}

5 IOMs and 4 DF95s turned out on a seriously windy morning. The MetOffice forecast was 20 to 25 miles per hour gusting to close on 40! Fortunately the direction was from the SW and the marks along the South bank were ideally placed.
There was a mix of B rig and C rig in both classes with the advantage appearing to be with the smaller rig.
Alan N ( with a little bit of help from his friends) kept kept the racing going and 9 races were sailed.

The tie between Alan and Chaz was resolved in favour of Alan due to his 3 first places compared to Chaz’s 2.
