DF Summer series after Six rounds and the series end, it was always going to be interesting, to see who would carry of the trophy, as you all know to stand any chance you needed to be in it to win it , or at least stand any chance of being on the podium, After round Five Kevin and Colin led the series, Pete was in prime position with three wins out of three, but he was going to be a bit busy on the South coast, Martyn was busy at the DF 95 Nationals, so who was that creeping up on the dark side , none other than Micky boy C, And although he only got a second in the final race , it was enough to take the top spot, and so the first Champion of the Summer series is Micky Boy Chamberlain, with Kevin in second and Colin in third spot. Now I would hope that as we move into the Winter series for this class, it will be better supported, and more of our members show up , so check the first three months of the Winter calendar, cancel the Garden , cancel the Family , cancel any holidays you may want to book, and lets see you having a real go at getting this summer series trophy away from Micky boy, he has had it for the last two years .

Time for the who’s who in the club to decide who may have been the best improver in the series this year , a trophy donated by the late Chaz Jordan .
