Please always check the calendar well in advance of a race date. It is your responsibility.
It would appear that some skippers are unsure when it comes to duty skipper. Please note, it is this simple and always has been.
1/ Do not let your clubmates down by just not turning up . This is important , an email takes 10 seconds .
2/ Check well in advance ,,, it is all on the calendar and has been for some time , if you cant do your duty, email all other skippers to arrange a swap , In the unusual eventuality that you cannott arange a swop, Let Mick C know. Dont just ignore it.
3/ Do not leave it till the last minute, and also, it is pointless putting a notice on the Club House notice board, as hardly anybody will see it.
Please remember if you are unable to carry out your duty, email other members to arrange a swop or cover. You are permitted to sail when you do you duty .
There is a folder in the clubhouse with all the help you may need to do the duty , also dont be shy to ask
A note for you all re times on the Winter series , The Championship, DF95’s and the DF 65’s class will race from 10 am and no race will start after 1230 .The I.O.M winter series starts at 10am and no race starts after 1pm. The Summer Series is an extra half hour for all classes .
